The Frontier in American Culture
The Newberry Library
Chicago, Illinois

An exhibit exploring two vastly different points of view of the American West--those of Frederick Jackson Turner and those of Buffalo Bill Cody. A featured element of the exhibit is the Little Big Horn section, where visitors are asked to chose a path to follow. One provides the traditional, Eurocentric point of view. Another explores the event from the Native-American perspective.
